K-12 Employment

Lititz Christian School is seeking passionate classroom instructors to provide students with appropriate learning tools, activities and experiences designed to assist them in fulfilling their potential for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Individuals must be proficient in the use of technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process and help students analyze and improve study methods and habits. Individuals are required to assess students regularly in accordance with school guidelines, examine student data, and refine instructional and classroom practices to differentiate instruction as needed. 

The following positions are currently available (Employment Application link is located at the bottom of this page): 

Part-Time Middle/High School Music Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging music curriculum for middle and high school students.
- Teach fundamental music theory, vocal techniques, and instrument instruction.
- Lead rehearsals and prepare students for performances, including concerts, programs, and other school events.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and spiritual growth.
- Coordinate between families and contracted instrument instructors
- Integrate Biblical principles into music instruction and classroom activities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field.
- Strong understanding of music theory and pedagogy.
- Member of LLMEA or PMEA or willing to obtain membership 
- Alignment with the mission and values of Lititz Christian School.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants to serve as substitute teachers for grades K-12.
