Concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are woven throughout class content at Lititz Christian School.  STEAM sets us apart from the early learning level all the way through high school.

Students learn math in art class and engineering in technology class.  In science class they collaboratively experiment with theorems in chemistry and motion.  Technology incorporated in the classroom includes iPads, Chromebooks, laptop and desktop computers.  Students use the Makerbot 3D printer to print designs created with corresponding software.

Our First Tech Challenge Robotics Team designs, programs, and tests robots for competition in the international FTC program.  Team members work together to create their competitive robot.  Each season the team discusses functions for a useful robot based on the game rules.  They draw out and CAD the parts needed to assemble their robot.   Building and programming are exciting team jobs as that means we are getting close to testing our robot.  Local and regional competitions help us improve and make our robot more efficient in earning team points.
