ELC Playground

In the words of Elizabeth Andrew, "Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart."  The Early Learning Center experienced this first-hand last fall, when we were blessed with the funds to build a new playground through an anonymous donor. There was an outpouring of love and support from countless volunteers who helped with our preschool playground build this past fall.

Under the direction of Lyons Recreation, we were able to prepare the area and construct a brand new, state-of-the-art playground, designed for children ages 3-5 years.  Preschool and prekindergarten children have been enjoying the new equipment which includes a climber, balance beam, rock wall, tunnels, 10-person spinner, and much more! Three-year-old Emma is thrilled with the new equipment. She exclaims, “My favorite part of the new Lititz Christian playground is the slide!” 

Thanks to the love, support, and dedication of our volunteers and donors, hundreds of children will be positiviely impacted by our playground for many years to come!
